What we do
Ridecell provides the best way to get started in the new mobility market. Because our mobility platform is built on years of experience, it’s ready for automakers, auto clubs, automotive dealerships, and mobility startups to brand and launch their own services—and to scale them profitably as business grows.
The Ridecell platform provides the technology needed to run a standalone ridesharing or carsharing operation—or a hybrid service that combines both. End-to-end automation covers onboarding new riders, checking IDs, dynamic pricing, driver-rider matching, ride scheduling, payment processing, demand-supply balancing, personalized settings, and even referral programs and promotions. And, of course, there’s a customizable app that’s easy for drivers and riders to love.
I have been here for more than a year and I haven’t ever been at any place more focused on one mission – to enable mobility for all in the most efficient way.

Building a better future
As transportation moves rapidly towards autonomous vehicles, our position at the forefront of the on-demand revolution gives Ridecell customers an edge. By getting started today, mobility innovators can establish their brand, build a base of loyal riders, and learn the ins and outs of managing a vehicle fleet—so they’re fully in gear for the autonomous rideshare future.
At Ridecell, we’re staying ahead of the revolutionary picture. Equipped with deep expertise in mobility patterns and machine learning, we’re building technology that will automate transportation flows from end to end—whether in a chauffeured ridesharing scenario today or in a self-driving service tomorrow.
Ridecell fosters a culture of non-stop innovation and uncommon ambition. We never stop learning and we work hard to understand the challenges our customers face. Our experience, our smarts, our passion, and our humanity work together to keep us focused on an aggressive vision.
While we’ve been around and accomplished many milestones, we’re really just getting started.
As a grad student at Georgia Tech, Ridecell founder Aarjav Trivedi envisioned a new era of transportation services. The name “Ridecell” comes from this vision: how to get a “ride” with your “cell” phone. The first incarnation of Ridecell was a demand-response mobility service, which Aarjav and classmates ran from a Georgia Tech dispatch room. Building on the success at Georgia Tech, Ridecell started offering its technology to other top universities, including the University of Alabama and UC Berkeley, as well as to cities, campuses, and other new mobility providers.
Over the past ten years, Ridecell has acquired a world-class customer base. The company powers some of the most successful shared mobility services in cities across Europe and North America. These services include ZITY from Ferrovial and Groupe Renault, Gig Car Share from AAA, and Karma Mobility Experiences from Karma Automotive. We provide end-to-end carsharing and ridesharing solutions for automotive OEMs, auto dealerships, rental agencies, fleet services, and corporate and college campuses. Ridecell has processed more than 20 million rides and has a growing team of over 150 professionals.
