Onboarding Basics

How do I get an account?

  • Please send your email address to the fleet management team and they will help create your account.

How do I reset my password?

  • Click Forgot Password during Login or in Settings and you will receive an email to reset your password.

Using your NFC Badge (if applicable)

  • The NFC is a small square sticker or round coin-like badge with six or ten digit serial number printed on one side of the tag.
  • Use a long tap to start and end your rental: Hold the NFC tag on the NFC reader through the windshield. Once the green light starts blinking, continue to hold the NFC tag on the NFC reader until the green light stops blinking.
  • Use a short tap to lock and unlock the vehicle without ending your rental: Hold the NFC tag on the NFC reader through the windshield. Once the green light starts to blink, remove the NFC tag immediately.

What is the difference between a Scheduled Rental and an On Demand Rental?

  • A scheduled rental means that you are booking a car in advance for future use. An On Demand rental is an immediate rental meaning that you are renting a car for use right away.

Making a Rental: On Demand

How can I make an On Demand rental reservation?

  • Using the app, click on “I need a vehicle now” and choose the vehicle you would like to reserve, then click Reserve This Car. Once reserved, please unlock the vehicle and start the rental using app or NFC tag when the timer runs out.
  • Or use the NFC (if applicable); use a long tap to start an On Demand rental. Hold the NFC tag on the NFC reader through the windshield. Once the green light starts blinking, continue to hold the NFC tag on the NFC reader until the green light stops blinking. If this vehicle is available, the doors will unlock, and the NFC reader will respond with 3 quick green blinks. If the NFC reader responds with an Orange blink, then that vehicle is not available for you.

How can I unlock the doors on an On Demand Rental?

  • Using the app, click unlock then unlock & begin to start your rental.
  • Or use the NFC (if applicable); the doors will unlock after a long tap. Hold the NFC tag on the NFC reader through the windshield. Once the green light starts blinking, continue to hold the NFC tag on the NFC reader until the green light stops blinking.

What happens if I accidentally end my On Demand Rental and want to continue using the vehicle?

  • Please make a new On Demand rental in the app or use a long tap with your NFC tag to start a new rental.

How can I end my On Demand rental?

  • Using the app, click on “Lock and End” to end your rental when parked.
  • Or use your NFC (if applicable) by using a long tap (Hold the NFC tag on the NFC reader through the windshield. Once the green light starts blinking, continue to hold the NFC tag on the NFC reader until the green light stops blinking).

Making a Rental: Scheduled Rentals

How can I make a Scheduled Rental reservation?

  • The app will launch in scheduled rental mode with the option to switch to on-demand. Select your preferred station, start time, and end time to see available vehicle types. Click on Schedule to schedule a vehicle type.
  • Within the web portal, you can login, select a station, start and end time to see available vehicle types. Click on Schedule to schedule a vehicle type.

How will I know which vehicle has been assigned to my Scheduled Rental?

  • In the app, shortly before your rental start time, the rental will go live in your app and will show you which specific vehicle has been assigned.
  • Additionally, you will receive an email detailing the vehicle you are assigned.

How can I unlock the doors on a Scheduled Rental?

  • Using the app, click unlock then unlock & begin to start your rental.
  • You can start your scheduled rental by long tapping your NFC tag: Hold the NFC tag on the NFC reader through the windshield. Once the green light starts blinking, continue to hold the NFC tag on the NFC reader until the green light stops blinking.

Can I start my Scheduled Rental early?

  • You can start your scheduled rental before your scheduled rental start time. The specific early access time period will be established by the administrator of your fleet.

How can I lock the vehicle without ending my Scheduled Rental?

  • Using the app, click lock to lock your vehicle without ending it.
  • Or use NFC (if applicable); Use a short tap to lock and unlock the vehicle without ending your rental. Hold the NFC tag on the NFC reader through the windshield. Once the green light starts to blink, remove the NFC tag immediately. The NFC reader will respond with one green blink.

What happens if I accidentally end my Scheduled Rental early and want to continue using the vehicle?

  • Using the app, you can reserve the car in the app to create a new On Demand rental on the same vehicle.
  • Or using NFC (if applicable), you can long tap the NFC tag to start a new On Demand rental on the vehicle. Hold the NFC tag on the NFC reader through the windshield. Once the green light starts blinking, continue to hold the NFC tag on the NFC reader until the green light stops blinking and the doors unlock.

How can I end my Scheduled Rental?

  • You can contact your fleet management team and they can remotely unlock your vehicle from their admin portal.

How can I see past rentals I’ve made?

  • Using the app, you can find your past trips by going to Menu → Trips → Past
  • Or using the web portal, you can find your past trips in the My Trips section

How can I see upcoming rentals I’ve planned?

  • Using the app, you can see all your upcoming rentals by going to Menu → Trips → Upcoming
  • Or using the web portal, you can find your upcoming rentals in the My Trips section
